I think there are some confusion by the difference between a traveler, tourist and digital nomad in the article.

I don’t see the connection between a hard rock café and digital nomads. Is this really where digital nomads would go? It is one of the most overpriced restaurants you can find anywhere, and I think they mostly target the short-term tourist.
